Meet The Eastern Customer Service Center in Wabash, Indiana

BY Dairyland Seed Marketing Team

Did you know that Dairyland Seed has an Eastern Customer Service Center?

Built in 2012, the Wabash, Indiana, location was added to the Dairyland Seed family in 2018. Adding this location allowed Dairyland Seed to be much more concentrated and better able to serve our customers. The Wabash team of four full Dairyland Seed employees and one seasonal employee serve as both a customer service center and distribution location.

The 75,000 square foot warehouse allows plenty of space to warehouse seed, retag, convert bags to boxes and load or deliver true bulk seed. Advanced Ag Resources staffs the warehouse who stage and load the incoming/outbound trucks. The busy crew was responsible for shipping 2900 units of alfalfa, 73,000 units of corn, 173, 000 units of soybeans and 1100 forage units last season.

PAR PLOT

Our Wabash location is also home to our 30-acre corn and soybean PAR (Product and Agronomy Research) plots to conduct agronomic research. The goal of these trials is to implement multi-year studies in order to increase the validity and accuracy of our trials.

Along with “show and tell” demonstrations, the 2023 PAR plot tour also features:

  • Corn Harvest Timing
  • Soy Foliar Micro Dissection
  • Soy Foliar Pak
  • Corn Foliar Fungicide Timing
  • Xyway® Fungicide
  • Product Showcase
  • Seed Treatment

The 2023 PAR tour dates are: Wednesday, August 23 and Thursday, August 24.
