BY Dairyland Seed
Linda Fricke is Dairyland Seed’s Accounts Receivable Specialist working out of the West Bend, WI, headquarters. Linda processes financing for payment (John Deere, Rabo, and Dairy Friendly), audits Cash App Lockbox payments, processes refunds and credits, and provides customer service for accounts receivable issues.
Linda’s smile can light up a room and with her one-year employment anniversary coming up soon, Linda says, “Since day one, the staff at Dairyland Seed have been welcoming. It feels great to look forward to coming in to work each day.”
She adds, “There’s nothing like the satisfaction I receive when I am able to help a customer or District Sales Manager with an inquiry or solving a problem/issue. I will always try to answer your questions when you call and, if I can’t, I will do my best to find out who can.”
Linda grew up in Milwaukee and earned her BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She worked as a jeweler before becoming a stay-at-home mom until her youngest entered K-4. Prior to joining Dairyland Seed, Linda was the Accounts Receivable Manager for Networkers Funding LLC.
On weeknights and weekends, you’ll find Linda in her kitchen creating healthier versions of the foods she and her husband enjoy. Baking is her preference, but she’s willing to give any recipe a try if it looks good.
The Frickes enjoy live music and, after a random meeting with Brian Setzer of The Stray Cats at their hotel, Brian invited their family backstage after the concert. Linda’s husband, an avid musician, was invited to jam with him a bit after the show creating a memory for a lifetime!
Linda and her husband, Michael, reside in Campbellsport, WI, along with Glimpy a red-eared slider turtle. After a battle with liver failure, their beloved dog Xiou Xiong, a family member for ten years, passed away during the writing of this article. Xiou Xiong was a Rottweiler/lab mix. His name Xiou Xiong (pronounced shaou [rhymes with ow!) shung – means “little bear” in Chinese).
Their three adult daughters, Noel, Erin, Haley, all have relocated to Portland, Oregon, making for fun trips to the West Coast for family time, seeing shows and sampling the variety of local cuisines.
