What are the earliest 2025 corn and soybean planting dates?

BY Dairyland Seed Agronomy Team

Historically, when agronomists were asked the question “when should I plant?”, the reply was “when the ground is fit.” The agronomist portion of the answer is still mostly the same, however, a caveat of “check with your Crop Insurance provider as to when coverage kicks in” is probably also suggested.

The maps below show the earliest planting day maps for corn and soybeans. As previously stated, if you have questions regarding when your early planting coverage kicks in please contact your Crop Insurance provider.
